This Invitation to Tender ("ITT") has been issued by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex (the PCC for Sussex) who is seeking to appoint a maximum of 32 of suppliers for the provision of vehicle maintenance services to the PCC for Sussex and to the PCC for Surrey (together, 'the Authorities') . The Requirement will be tendered as a multi-supplier framework divided into 4 (four) lots, listed within the ITT Statement of Requirements (Specification) document. A maximum of 8 suppliers may be awarded a contract on each Framework lot. To minimise environmental impact and vehicle downtime, while at the same time increasing supplier participation to the project, premises where suppliers intend to provide the service must be located within 35 miles of at least one of the Authorities' workshops in Surrey, East Sussex and West Sussex.

Provision of maintenance services for motorcycles Options: The Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex as the lead authority for this tender, reserves the right to exercise the following options while the Framework is valid: a) share lot values with other lots b) combine lots, if a single supplier wins multiple lots c) allow suppliers appointed to the Framework to deliver additional services that are in keeping with the nature of the contract for presently unknown variables, such as: • in cases of urgency • in cases of an alternative contract failure or termination • if a JTS Workshop is being relocated d) allocate work to successful suppliers servicing an alternative lot/location in the event that no bids are received for a lot.

Open procedure

The indicative spend for this framework is estimated at £2,750,000.00 VAT exclusive. The total spend value will be divided between all the suppliers on the Framework based on the estimated lot value and work allocation process described within the ITT and the Framework Conditions of Contract.

Tenders must be submitted through https://sell2.in-tend.co.uk/blpd. Submissions made by any other method will not be accepted. Prior to submitting a response to this upcoming Tender, Bidders are required to register on the Government Central Digital Platform (CDP - https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk) and complete their core Supplier Information. CDP registration is now mandatory for all suppliers tendering for a public contract. As a result, Bidders must ensure they are registered on the CDP and all information is complete and up to date. Supplier Information from the CDP will be required as part of the tender submission and failure to provide it will result in the tender being non-compliant. The Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex wishes to encourage all organisations interested in this procurement to allow sufficient time and resources for their CDP and In-Tend registration.
