The apparatus shall be used for x-ray examinations of i.a. lungs, extremities, hips and bedpans. The mobile x-ray service involves frequent transport of the apparatus between different locations. It is therefore important that the apparatus is compact, has the lowest possible weight and is suitable for transport in small goods vans. Low weight is particularly important for practical handling and manoeuvring, including in confined spaces and in places with varying access conditions. The apparatus shall have a set of wheels that enables moving the apparatus in folded condition and laterally. It shall also have large wheels that are suitable for transport on rough and uneven surfaces.
