Lancashire County Council is seeking tenders for the provision of services for the Collection, Transportation and Recycling of Gypsum Containing Waste. In summary, the services will comprise the collection, direct transportation, weighing and recycling of up to 4,450 Tonnes per annum of Gypsum Containing Waste from Authority Waste Facilities. The Services are being procured on the basis of four (4) lots comprising Gypsum Containing Waste per Lot of: ▪️Lot 1 - East Lancashire = up to 1,500 Tonnes per annum, ▪️Lot 2 - North Lancashire = up to 1,200 Tonnes per annum, ▪️Lot 3 - South Lancashire = up to 1,100 Tonnes per annum, ▪️Lot 4 - West Lancashire = up to 650 Tonnes per annum. The Authority is seeking to appoint a single Provider for each Lot. Please see the tender documents for more information about the scope and requirements. Any Framework Agreement awarded for the required Services may be accessed and used by the Authority and any successor local authority that assumes the Authority's functions, property, rights or liabilities under the Local Government (Structural Changes) (Transfer of Functions, Property, Rights and Liabilities) Regulations 2008.

The Services will comprise the collection, direct transportation, weighing and recycling of up to 1,500 tonnes of Gypsum Containing Waste from Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) in East Lancashire. Renewal: The initial term is twenty four (24) months from the service commencement date and the Council may, in its absolute discretion, extend the term by any number of defined periods providing that the maximum term does not exceed forty eight (48) months. Options: Lancashire County Council reserves the option during the contract term to procure additional volumes of the services where waste volumes exceed forecast levels, or where operational requirements change. Any such options will be exercised at the Authority's discretion and will be within the scope of services stated in this notice.

Renewal: The initial term is twenty four (24) months from the service commencement date and the Council may, in its absolute discretion, extend the term by any number of defined periods providing that the maximum term does not exceed forty eight (48) months. Options: Lancashire County Council reserves the option during the contract term to procure additional volumes of the services where waste volumes exceed forecast levels, or where operational requirements change. Any such options will be exercised at the Authority's discretion and will be within the scope of services stated in this notice.

Options: Lancashire County Council reserves the option during the contract term to procure additional volumes of the services where waste volumes exceed forecast levels, or where operational requirements change. Any such options will be exercised at the Authority's discretion and will be within the scope of services stated in this notice.

The Services will comprise the collection, direct transportation, weighing and recycling of up to 650 tonnes of Gypsum Containing Waste from Household Recycling Centres (HWRCs) in West Lancashire. Renewal: The initial term is twenty four (24) months from the service commencement date and the Council may, in its absolute discretion, extend the term by any number of defined periods providing that the maximum term does not exceed forty eight (48) months. Options: Lancashire County Council reserves the option during the contract term to procure additional volumes of the services where waste volumes exceed forecast levels, or where operational requirements change. Any such options will be exercised at the Authority's discretion and will be within the scope of services stated in this notice.

Each Lot will be a single supplier framework agreement, with prices set in the framework agreement. If Lancashire County Council elects to source services through the agreement then it shall award any contracts in accordance with the terms laid down in the agreement by placing an order with the provider.
