Key information
Overview
St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is undertaking a preliminary market engagement exercise to identify suppliers capable of providing maintenance, repair, technical support and lifecycle management services for the Trust's existing car park management infrastructure. The purpose of this engagement is to understand the capability and capacity of the market to support the Trust's existing installed car park management solution and associated equipment. This notice is issued for market engagement purposes only and does not constitute a call for competition or commitment to undertake a procurement exercise.
Procurement Act 2023
St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust wishes to engage with the market regarding the provision of maintenance, repair and support services for its existing car park management infrastructure located at St George's Hospital. The Trust currently operates a CAME Parkare car park management system comprising parking control equipment, access barriers, payment equipment, associated software, communications infrastructure and related assets. The purpose of this engagement is to determine whether suppliers within the market have the capability to provide comprehensive maintenance and support services for the existing installed infrastructure without replacement of the existing system. Interested suppliers are invited to provide information regarding: • Experience maintaining and supporting CAME Parkare car park management systems. • Ability to access and supply original manufacturer components, software updates and replacement parts. • Relevant manufacturer accreditations, authorisations or approved partnership arrangements. • Ability to provide planned preventative maintenance and reactive repair services. • Experience supporting acute hospital, NHS or similar critical public sector environments. • Capacity to provide ongoing operational support for a live hospital car parking system. • Typical response times and service level arrangements. • Any limitations, restrictions or dependencies associated with supporting the existing infrastructure. The Trust is particularly interested in understanding whether maintenance and support services can be provided by suppliers independent of the original equipment manufacturer and whether any technical, software, intellectual property or manufacturer-related restrictions would affect the delivery of services. Suppliers wishing to participate should submit a capability statement of no more than four pages outlining their relevant experience, capability and approach. Responses should be submitted within 7 calendar days of publication of this notice. Information received may be used to inform the Trust's future procurement strategy and contracting arrangements.
