Overview

The Solutions Architect is responsible for managing the technical delivery and governance of Fáilte Ireland’s ICT projects. The role oversees projects from initiation through to operational handover, contributes to strategic planning of the ICT portfolio, and guides the technical direction of systems. Key duties include technical analysis, stakeholder and vendor management, and support for finance and procurement decisions. The architect ensures system enhancements are properly scoped, align with architectural standards, and can be fully supported by Fáilte Ireland. The role also evaluates third#party technical deliverables, participates in architecture design and performance monitoring, and advises on product selection and build#versus#buy decisions.
