Overview

Job Description - Senior SchedulerThe Senior Scheduler is responsible for project planning and scheduling across assigned project areas, maintaining and governing the integrated project schedule and supporting the Schedule Manager in ensuring schedule integrity across the programme. Working closely with project managers, work package owners, and contractors, the Senior Scheduler ensures timely progress reporting and robust schedule management. This role requires a strong technical background in Primavera P6, experience with integrated schedule management, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment.The position reports to the Project Controls Manager.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop, maintain and govern programme and project level integrated schedules.Produce and maintain schedule look-aheads (6-week, 3-month) and what-if scenarios.Support validation of contractor schedules and ensure correct statusing with contractors and work package owners.Carry out impact assessments with respect to changes to defined schedule baselines.Support baseline schedule management in collaboration with the Schedule Manager.Identify schedule delays and support the identification and implementation of recovery actions.Produce status schedules and reports in accordance with the Scheduling Manual.Align work package schedules with programme and project integrated schedules.Ensure compatibility of the integrated schedule with other tooling (Cleopatra, WorQmanager).Support the Schedule Manager in developing and updating scheduling procedures.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality guidelines.Coordinate schedule reader issues using baseline schedules.
