De Rudolf Steinerschool is een primair onderwijsschool gevestigd aan de Sperwerstraat te Alkmaar. De school heeft circa 220 leerlingen van 4 tot 13 jaar, verdeeld over 9 groepen. Het schoolgebouw komt uit 1981 en is onder organische architectuur gebouwd. Het gebouw is inmiddels bijna 45 jaar in gebruik en vertoond de sporen van intensief gebruik. Het gebouw voldoet niet meer aan de wensen en eisen van deze tijd. Stichting Vrijescholen Ithaka is daarom voornemens om de Rudolf Steinerschool in Alkmaar te renoveren. Besloten is om het project in bouwteam verder te ontwikkelen. Zie leidraad
