Lämmöntalteenotto perustuu savukaasujen lauhdutukseen, jossa savukaasun vesihöyry lauhtuu vedeksi. Järjestelmä parantaa laitoksen lämmöntuotannon hyötysuhdetta ja laskee savukaasun loppulämpötilaa.
