Overview

An Garda Síochána has a requirement for a consultant/ subject-matter expert to assist with the conduct of a tender competition in accordance with Government circulars on public procurement, national regulations and EU Directives relating to public procurement. This tender will be structured into three lots covering different metal storage solutions currently used by An Garda Síochána: 1) Lockers of different kinds (personnel, postal, food, etc.) 2) Safes 3) Shelving (metal) – metal shelving both measured to fit and readymade bays of shelving. The Successful Tenderer will assist An Garda Síochána in carrying out the following tasks: 1) Assist with establishing the scope of the tender – review the existing range of items in use by An Garda Síochána; examine current use of these items by AGS; offer professional guidance on the items to be included in each lot; 2) Assist in preparation of tender documents – assist in the preparation of RFT/ TRD; preparation of requirements; compile specifications for each lot; pricing schedule and award criteria; 3) Assist in the administration of Procurement processes to include liaison with suppliers, receipt and response to tender clarifications; 4) Assist in the evaluation process – participate in the review of tender submissions and tender evaluation meetings and supplier selection, including tender assessment and evaluation methodology; 5) Attend any meetings relating to the tender process as required by An Garda Síochán
