Overview

Dublin Port Company (DPC) The Contracting Entity proposes to engage in a competitive process for the establishment of single party framework agreement to provide Fuel Oil Supplies to the Dublin Port Estate. The scope includes the supply and delivery of Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), Marine Gas Oil (MGO) and Kerosene to support DPC’s marine operations, building heating and standby power requirements. Fuel deliveries will serve DPC’s vessels, including pilot boats, tugs and workboats, together with terminal buildings, operational premises, back-up generators and associated fuel storage facilities across the estate. The successful tenderer will be required to ensure reliable and safe deliveries to DPC’s nominated delivery points, in quantities and at frequencies in line with operational activity. The scope will include fuel quality assurance, appropriate delivery documentation, and coordination with DPC personnel to support continuity of port operations. The indicative aggregate requirement across all three fuel types is approximately 738,000 litres per annum (58% Gas Oil, 41% HVO, 1% Kerosene). “ To promote responsible and sustainable www.dublinport.ie.supply chain practices in line with industry best practice, DPC has partnered with Achilles, a leading global provider of supply chain risk management services. DPC is conducting its qualification stage for this competition via the Achilles Supply-Line Platform.
