Overview
Maynooth University wishes to engage a competent organisation to carry out Certification of Financial Statements (CFS) primarily for but not limited to Horizon Europe and remaining EU H2020 funded research grants. In general, the certification takes the form as laid out by the funding agencies (e.g. see Article 24 of HE Model Grant Agreement). The Certificate on the Financial Statements (CFS) is a factual report produced by an independent auditor. The CFS should be based on the model published on the EC Portal and consist of the terms of reference, signed by the beneficiary and the auditor and contain the auditor's independent report of factual findings. This report must be issued on the auditor's letterhead, be dated, stamped and signed by the auditor.
