We are establishing a new energy services company to support the aims of the RENEW project, enabling households to respond intelligently to real-time electricity system conditions. By combining smart meter data, wholesale price signals, and digital automation, the company empowers consumers and communities to shift electricity use away from peak periods, lowering costs, reducing system stress, and improving the integration of renewable generation. This approach aligns consumer behaviour with grid needs, supports energy affordability, and contributes to a more flexible, resilient, and decarbonised electricity system in Ireland.
