Key information
Overview
Slough Borough Council intends to procure a care and support service at its two Extra Care Housing schemes, Northampton Place (56 flats) and The Pines (70 flats). The service combines a core 24/7 on-site presence (including two waking night staff per scheme) with planned care for individual tenants, paid on actual hours delivered (a core and flex model). The Council is carrying out preliminary market engagement to test its pricing approach, core service design and contract terms, following a procurement in 2025/26 that did not result in a contract. Providers are invited to complete the Request for Information; the Council may hold short follow-up conversations with individual respondents to clarify their responses.
