This contract will include 2 work streams. This will cover all of Citizen's external audit requirements, and a separate audit on Citizen's decarbonisation program. This contract will commence 1st November 2026, and will be let for 48 months.
The procurement route to market is a direct award GCA (Government Commercial Agency) framework for Audit and Assurance Services 2, lot 2 external audit and lot 4 other independent assurance. Options: The value of the contract may need to be amended to ensure audits are completed, in accordance with PCR2015, which the framework was procured under.

Award procedure without prior publication of a call for competition This contract has been procured by direct award call-off through the Government Commercial Agency (GCA) framework for Audit and Assurance Services 2, lot 2 external audit and lot 4 other independent assurance. The framework was procured under PCR2015, therefore this call-off contract will be governed under the same regulations.
