Overview
The contract modification extends the duration of the existing Life in the UK Testing Services contract with PSI Services (UK) Ltd from 30 September 2027 to 30 March 2028. The modification is being made pursuant to Schedule 8, Paragraph 8 of the Procurement Act 2023 (Additional Services). The extension is required to maintain continuity of the Life in the UK Test service whilst the replacement procurement is completed and mobilisation and transition activities are undertaken. No changes are being made to the scope of services, pricing arrangements, supplier obligations, service requirements, performance requirements or overall commercial model. The estimated value of the modification is approximately £5.41 million, increasing the estimated contract value from £22.86 million to approximately £28.26 million.
Provision of Life in the UK Testing Services, including operation and management of the Life in the UK Test, administration of test bookings, delivery of testing through a nationwide test centre network, customer support services, fraud prevention and security measures, results processing, management information reporting and associated contract management activities supporting the statutory Life in the UK Test requirement.
