For the avoidance of doubt, the provision of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. <br/>The decision-makers for this ward include GHFTs Pathology Manager and Microbiology and Molecular Pathology Laboratory Manager.<br/>There were no conflicts of interests were declared.
GHFT are looking to secure T-Spot Testing for patients as this kind of testing are better at picking up infections in patients with reduced/compromised immune system. This will be on a cost and volume basis. <br/>The award has been awarded under the Provider Selection Regime Direct Award A as Oxfordshire Diagnostics are the only provider of this test. <br/>The lifetime of the contract value is £84,000 for around 2100 tests per year from 1sr April 2026 - 31st March 2027

Award procedure without prior publication of a call for competition Oxfordshire Diagnostic Laboratories will provide T-Spot testing for GHFT patients on a cost and volume basis. This contract was awarded under the Provider Selection Regime Direct Award A due to being the only provider of such test.
