Key information
Overview
UCD wishes to engage a company to provide primary care teaching and learning placements to students undertaking the DN300 Veterinary Medicine five-year Programme and the DN301 four-year Veterinary Medicine Graduate Entry Programme. UCD students registered to the Programmes undertake a Small Animal Clinical Studies (SACS) module (VET40290) in their final year. The primary care teaching and learning placements will be a core part of this module designed to complement the other components and offering the students exposure to primary care small animal species, primarily dogs and cats, but also exotic pets and experience in routine health care and preventive medicine including dentistry.
