Pentru buna desfasurare a actiunilor de interventie si a eficientizarii activitatilor Compartimentului PSI si Protectie Civila in vederea gestionarii situatiilor de urgenta produse pe aeroport, in urma analizarii capacitatii de interventie a compartimentului si in conformitate cu cerintele Autoritatii Aeronautice Civile Romane, regasite in Raportul de audit nr. AP03/17.05.2012 avand in vedere Doc. ICAO 9137 partea 1 – Rescue and Fire Fighting si Doc. RACR-AD-PETA editia 2/2015, PIAC-AD-SSI editia 2/2016, Regulamentul EU nr. 139/2014, SN Aeroportul International Timisoara Traian Vuia SA doreste sa inchirieze 2 (doua) autospeciale rapide si de mare capacitate - 10.000 litri apa; 1.000 litri spuma; 225 kg praf/masina, fiind certificat ca aeroport categoria 7, ca nivel de protectie asigurat pe un aerodrom pentru salvarea si stingerea incendiilor.
