Suffolk Public Health is required to deliver the scheme as part of their statutory responsibility for oral health improvement, including commissioning and coordinating local delivery in schools and settings. This contract is to be awarded using the basic selection criteria and key criteria outlined in the tender documents. The relative importance of the key criteria was determined to reflect SCC's priorities for securing high-quality, sustainable services and achieving value for money. Following evaluation, the successful provider was selected as its submission scored highest overall against the published criteria and was considered to offer the most advantageous balance of quality, service delivery, outcomes, and value.
