Overview
Tampere University Foundation sr is inviting tenders, procurement is 'Multivessel bioreactor system'. Small-scale multi-vessel bioreactor system for bacterial (co-)cultivations allowing controlled transitions between aerobic and anaerobic phases within the same cultivation and equipped with 2 autoclavated glass vessels (working volume 50-200 mL), vessel headplates with all necessary ports for mechanical mixer, gas supply, sensors, feed, sampling and exhaust lines as well as software to operate the system, delivery and on-site services, including installation and user's training.
The experimental research infrastructures of Bio and Circular Economy (Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Tampere University) consist of experimental setups and analytical laboratories for studying thermochemical processes, catalytic reforming, biorefineries and hydrometallurgy, biogas and carbon dioxide utilization, bioelectrochemical systems, water engineering and micropollutants, molecular biology, and synthetic biology. The bioreactor system will be used for the cultivation of aerobic, microaerobic and anaerobic microorganisms, for studying growth under different conditions, for comparing batch and fed-batch processes, and for characterizing cellular metabolism. The system shall include at least two bioreactors that can be operated and controlled independently of one another. * * * * PRICING Indicatively 140 000 € - 160 000 € (excl.
