Forestry England are seeking suppliers to carry out mulching and similar services in the South England Forest District
Procurement Act 2023
Open procedure
A maximum of five Suppliers will be awarded a place under each lot. Work programmes with an estimated value below £15,000 will be awarded to the first ranked Supplier, they will be expected to provide the service in accordance with the prices, delivery times and specifications agreed under this framework. If they are unable to do so the second ranked Supplier on the list will be contacted and so on. Work programmes (Excluding Lot 4/8) with an estimated value over £15,000 (£10,000 for Remote-Controlled Machines) will be awarded by mini competition between the five Suppliers on the framework lot. The Suppliers will be notified of the work programme and will be asked to provide a price to complete all the specified work. The work programme will be awarded to the Supplier based on price and ability to meet any specific requirements of the job. An area-wide mini competition (Lot 9) may also be used for work that does not fit the standard requirement of the framework (For example, sites that require multiple specifications of mulching or time constraints that require multiple machinery on site to meet deadlines), or where additional resources or equipment will be required to complete the work programme.
