Overview
Procurement of an Engineering Consultancy Services to progress the design of the Carrickmacross Inner Link Road which is approximately 2.2km in length. This link road would connect the N2 via the R180, R178 to the R179 on the west of Carrickmacross Town. This project would include Active Travel infrastructure, open development lands and provide congestion relief for Carrickmacross Town. Provision of Inner Link Road. • The upgrade of the existing private 340m access road from the Roundabout on the R180. • The construction of a new Inner link road from the private road off the R180 through the R178 to the R179 to provide access to the residential development lands. • The construction of priority junctions on the existing Regional Roads R178 and the R179.
