Overview
The contract comprises the preparation of a methodology and material management plan for the removal of Himalayan balsam and associated contaminated soil, together with implementation of the removal works. Himalayan balsam has been identified within the works area and, where suitable, material may be buried on site in accordance with environmental requirements. The contract also includes provision for the off-site removal and disposal of any surplus contaminated material. An Invasive Species Survey was made available to bidders to inform their proposals.
