Purpose and nature of the market survey: The Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) is preparing a procurement procedure concerning the system described below. With this notice, Luke invites potential suppliers to express their interest in participating in the market dialogue relating to the preparation of the procurement procedure. This is a market survey in accordance with the legislation on public procurement, the purpose of which is to gather information on solutions and suppliers available on the market prior to the drafting of a possible invitation to tender. The market survey is not a call for tenders, and participation or non-participation in it will not affect participation in any subsequent tender procedure or its outcome. Preliminary subject of the procurement: The subject of the procurement is an automated, multi-channel gas sample collection, control and calibration system, intended for use with the stable carbon isotope gas analyser already in place at Luke. The system’s functional and technical characteristics must enable at least the following functions: • automatic sequencing of at least 28 sampling lines; • continuous measurement of atmospheric, soil and plant-derived gas samples; • compatibility with the carbon isotope analyser currently in use at Luke without the need for significant further development; • automatic zero and span calibration; • round-the-clock, long-term operation in field and laboratory conditions; • centralised flow and valve control of sample lines; • automatic data collection and integration with existing research infrastructures; and • the possibility of expanding the system in the future with additional sample lines or other gas analysers.
