The Participating Authority provides items; the supplier processes and returns them. Lot 3 – Linen Hire & Asset Management Supplier-owned linen provided on hire, with full processing, inventory management, lifecycle management, and linen loss management included. Also, as a supplementary service, the ability to manage workwear uniform programmes and automated scrub dispensing systems. Suppliers who can deliver these solutions are encouraged to highlight their capabilities and experience in these areas as part of their tender submission. Procurement Act 2023
Open procedure
The Framework Agreement operates as a multi-supplier open framework. Participating Authorities will generally award call-off contracts through further competition amongst the suppliers appointed to the relevant lot(s). Further competitions may assess quality, price and other contract-specific requirements in accordance with the call-off documentation. Pricing will be determined through supplier submissions at further competition stage and/or framework pricing schedules where applicable. Award without compeititon may also be used where permitted under the Framework Agreement and where the Participating Authority considers this to be the most appropriate route. Suppliers may apply to join the framework at advertised reopening points throughout its term.
