Overview
Cork County Council seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced multidisciplinary Consultant Team to prepare a comprehensive Large Scale Development Plan (LSDP) for Camden Fort Meagher, Crosshaven, Co. Cork. The commission forms part of the Camden Fort Meagher Regeneration Programme and is funded under the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund (RRDF) Category 2 Programme. The purpose of the commission is to establish a clear, evidence-based and deliverable long-term vision for Camden Fort Meagher and to prepare a publication-quality Large Scale Development Plan capable of guiding future conservation, enhancement, management, visitor development, investment and sustainable regeneration of the Fort. Recognising the strategic importance and future potential of Camden Fort Meagher as a nationally significant heritage, tourism, cultural and educational destination, Cork County Council successfully secured funding under the Rural Regeneration and Development Fund (RRDF) Category 2 Programme to support the next phase of its regeneration.
