Key information
Overview
National Grid is seeking to establish a Hardware Reseller Framework to provide an efficient and value-driven route to market for the procurement of IT hardware, including but not limited to network infrastructure, cyber security equipment, servers, associated device licensing and associated hardware services across its UK and US businesses. The framework will appoint a limited number of strategic reseller partners capable of supplying leading OEM technologies, delivering competitive pricing, lifecycle and warranty management, asset visibility, technical support, and value-added services. The framework aims to improve commercial outcomes, strengthen supply chain resilience and governance, support sustainability objectives, and provide a scalable procurement solution that meets National Grid's evolving technology requirements. While this procurement covers requirements across both the UK and US and is being managed as a single procurement exercise, any resulting contractual arrangements will be awarded through separate UK and US framework agreements rather than a single global framework contract. The indicative value of the US opportunity is approximately £100,000,000 equivalent over its maximum eight-year term. The US value is provided for transparency only, is separate from the UK framework maximum value stated in this notice and does not constitute a commitment or guarantee of expenditure.
Renewal: Contract will initially run on a 3 year term + a single 2 year term extension with additional 1 year increments up to a maximum of 8 years.
