There is an urgent need for capital investment at Letterkenny University and Mayo University Hospitals in terms of bed capacity and further significant infrastructure developments to provide the required capacity to support both scheduled and unscheduled care. The projects need to align with an overall campus masterplan which is being developed to define the proposed hospital service provision to meet the current and future needs of the population served. To inform the above a clinical scoping brief is being developed to inform the design team and the overall masterplan for the site. The services of consultants / advisors in the area of health planning is required to support the above projects, and masterplan, and in particular to evaluate and inform the clinical scoping brief and to then develop a schedule of accommodation to inform the design team/architect.
