Helse Bergen has signed a contract with Intuitive Surgical Sarl for the hire of the existing Da Vinci Xi surgical robot for 5 years. The contract involves continuing the use of the current installation. The procurement was subject to a voluntary ex ante transparency notice (VEAT notice) published on Doffin and TED prior to the conclusion of the contract, Doffin ID 2026-104188 and Ted ID 145813-2026. The total value of the Agreement includes the hire/use fee for the Da Vinci Xi system (single console), full service and training. In addition, equipment-dependent consumables (instruments and accessories) will be purchased under existing framework agreement 402523.The total value of the procurement is estimated to be EUR 5,000,000,000 excluding VAT.
