The GMC is reviewing the market to inform a future procurement for inclusive career development services, with the current intention of dividing the requirement into two lots: an organisation-wide EDI programme and an Inclusive Leadership Development programme.
Procurement Act 2023
We held virtual meetings with six (6) suppliers as part of our pre-market engagement for the Inclusive Career Programmes procurement. The discussions explored market capability, delivery models, commercial considerations and approaches to supporting career progression for underrepresented groups. Topics discussed included: Programme design and delivery approaches Mentoring, coaching and sponsorship models Measuring participant outcomes and programme impact Accessibility, inclusivity and participant support The output of the pre-market engagement was that the market can support a range of inclusive career development programmes and that our requirements are suitable to market capabilities.
