Overview
Northern Gas Networks has awarded contracts for the supply and installation of gas network monitoring and pressure-control equipment to support its RIIO-GD3 investment programme. The requirements comprise approximately 2,000 network loggers, upgrades or replacements for around 1,000 governor logging devices, and replacement, refurbishment or removal activities across up to 900 pressure-control sites. The contracts are divided into lots covering network loggers, governor loggers and low-pressure control equipment, with separate supply and installation arrangements. The goods and services comply with Northern Gas Networks' technical, cyber-security, data-governance, environmental, permitting and safety requirements, including WEEE-compliant disposal where applicable. Requirements will be fulfilled through mini-tenders or requests for quotation under the awarded contracts
