Overview
Dublin Port Company (“DPC”) is the contracting authority for this procurement. DPC is a State-owned, self-financing Designated Activity Company responsible for the management, operation and development of Dublin Port, Ireland’s premier port. In 2025, the Port handled circa 36 million gross tonnes, 6,649 ship arrivals and 1.7 million passengers. DPC intends to engage in a competitive process for the establishment of a Multi-Party Framework Agreement for an initial five (5) year period with an option to extend the Agreement for up to three (3) additional twelve (12) month periods, to a maximum of eight (8) years, subject to service delivery performance, continued business need, strategic alignment, market conditions and budget availability. The legal services requirement encompasses a mixture of routine advisory services, contract drafting and review, procurement support, property and estate matters, employment law queries, dispute management, project-related legal support and strategic advisory work. The volume and nature of instructions will vary from year to year depending upon operational requirements, capital investment programmes, regulatory developments and commercial activities.
