Overview
Folkestone & Hythe District Council (F&HDC) wishes to select and appoint a suitable contractor for the fit-out of a medical centre and commercial space within Folca 2 in Folkestone's town centre. The contract is anticipated to start April 2027 and continue until September 2028 (with the option to extend for a further period (or periods) of up to 6 months to February 2029). Renewal: option to extend for a further period (or periods) of up to 6 months to February 2029 or as required for the delivery of the works Options: At this stage, the tender includes an option for additional works to fit-out commercial space on the ground floor and basement level of Folca 2. This option may be removed prior to the final tender stage or at the post award/pre-contract stage. The option is dependent on the timing of FHDC entering into agreements(s) to lease or sell these spaces.
