The DS3 Project is a transformative cross-border initiative designed to boost digital inclusion and innovation in rural communities across the Central Border Region of Ireland and Northern Ireland, It is funded by PEACEPLUS, which is a cross-border funding Programme supported by the European Union, the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Government of Ireland, and the Northern Ireland administration. It represents the EU’s commitment to supporting the peace process across the region building upon the work of the previous PEACE and INTERREG Programmes. After successful adoption of the Programme by the EU, the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) launched PEACEPLUS in October 2023.
