Overview
The National Oceanogrpaphy Centre has appointed a contractor for the refurbishment of the existing Level 2 toilet facilities at the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton. The works comprise the strip-out of the existing male, female and accessible WCs and construction of four self-contained unisex toilet cubicles and one wheelchair-accessible WC with baby-changing facilities. Works include new sanitaryware, cubicles and IPS systems, partitions, doors, ceilings, flooring and wall finishes, together with associated mechanical, plumbing, ventilation and electrical alterations. The contract will include testing, commissioning, certification, making good, final cleaning and provision of all required handover documentation.
