Overview

This Contract Award Notice is acting as a Modification Notice under Article 72 of 2014/24/EU to RFT ID 234682 as published on the previous eTenders system, prior to the introduction of new TED eForms. Dublin City Council awarded this contract under an existing Framework Multiparty Framework Agreement for the Supply of Cultural Infrastructure Planning Consultancy services. This contract is for Community Infrastructure Audit and Strategy for Belmayne and Clongriffin. It is now necessary to apply a modification to this contract. Dublin City Council is using Article 72.1(b) for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor that have become necessary and that were not included in the initial procurement where a change of contractor: (i) cannot be made for economic or technical reasons such as requirements of interchangeability or interoperability with existing equipment, services or installations procured under the initial procurement; and (ii) would cause significant inconvenience or substantial duplication of costs for the contracting authority. During the course of the consultant’s engagement, an emerging development opportunity at Belcamp was identified and additional analysis and additional information to support DCC’s decision-making process was requested. Additionally, as the project progressed, a much larger number of stakeholders were identified than were originally expected and costed. This required additional work at Stages 2 and
