Direct award The proposed supplier is the OEM and has direct access to proprietary technical information, software, engineering specifications, manufacturer support and OEM-approved replacement parts required to maintain the equipment. Due to the age and criticality of the assets, the Trust requires access to OEM expertise and genuine parts to minimise operational risk and maintain service continuity. The Trust has concluded that the OEM's unique technical knowledge and direct manufacturer support are necessary to ensure the continued safe and reliable operation of the equipment.
