The Government of the Republic of Kenya (GoK) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of The Horn of Africa Groundwater for Resilience Project, Kenya. (HoAGW4RP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction of Water Pans in Wajir County. 2. The Water Resources Authority (WRA) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Construction of Water Pans – Batch II (Tarbaj, Argane water Pans and Butehelu Sand dam) in Wajir County as detailed below: Tarbaj Waterpan - Capacity 57,000m3 Argane Waterpan - Capacity 20,000m3 Butehelu Sand Dam Ancillary Works -Construction of Cattle troughs, intake and draw off facilities. 3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016, revised in September 2023, 5th Edition (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 8th December 2026 . Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on 8TH December 2026 6.
