The Government of the Republic of Kenya (GoK) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of The Horn of Africa Groundwater for Resilience Project, Kenya. (HoAGW4RP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Construction Works for Batch II Water Pans in Garissa County. 2. The Water Resources Authority (WRA) now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Construction of Water Pans - Batch 2 (Goreale (Shanta Abak) Waterpan, Kuno (Balambala) Waterpan,) in Garissa County as detailed below: Goreale (Shanta Abak) Waterpan - Capacity 20,000m3 Kuno (Balambala) Waterpan - Capacity 20,000m3 Ancillary Works -Construction of Cattle troughs, intake and draw off facilities. 3. Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016, revised in September 2023, 5th Edition (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4.
