Overview

The Contracting Authority is seeking to enter into framework agreements for the supply of double-deck buses. It is intended that 4 frameworks will be entered into, comprising: a single-supplier framework and a multi- supplier framework relating to double-deck battery-electric (two-axle) Buses; a single-supplier framework relating to double-deck battery-electric (three-axle) buses; and a single-supplier framework relating to double-deck regional buses. It is envisaged that up to 1,500 double-deck battery-electric (two-axle) buses, up to 200 double-deck battery- electric (three-axle) buses; and up to 100 double-deck regional buses may be procured under the frameworks. The Contracting Authority reserves the right to procure a lower or higher quantity of each type of bus, and the right to decline to place any call-off orders under any or all framework lot(s). The initial period of each associated framework agreement will be thirty (30) months, with the option to extend the framework agreement by a period or periods of up to a further sixty-six (66) months at the discretion of the Contracting Authority.
