The Framework Agreement will operate on a multi-supplier basis. Yorkshire Water will award call-off contracts in accordance with the Framework Agreement and the procedure applicable to the relevant Lot and requirement. Call-offs may be awarded by direct award, capability-based rotation or further competition, including mini-competition, depending on the nature, value, urgency and complexity of the requirement. Lot 1 and Lot 3 are expected to use mini-competitions for larger or complex projects, with direct award or capability-based allocation where permitted for standard or urgent works. Lot 2 and Lot 4 are expected to use planned maintenance schedules and price books, direct award for urgent or reactive works, and mini-competition for larger remedial packages. The detailed call-off mechanisms will be set out in the Framework Agreement and procurement documents.
