Overview
The Greater London Authority (GLA) intends to award a contract for the provision of Cleaning and Support Services across the GLA estate. The proposed award is being made in accordance with Section 41 of the Procurement Act 2023 and Schedule 5, Paragraph 7, on the basis that: This provision permits a contracting authority to award a public contract without a competitive procedure on the basis that: The direct award to ABM Facility Services UK Limited is necessary to ensure the uninterrupted provision of critical facilities management services across the GLA estate. The arrangement provides continuity of service while GLA complete their assessment of the optimal long-term service delivery and procurement strategy, thereby mitigating operational and service delivery risks. Contract Term The proposed contract will comprise: An initial term of two (2) years; and An option to extend for a further one (1) year.
