Castle Point Borough Council are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced contractor to undertake dredging works at Canvey Lake, Canvey Island, Essex. Castle Point Borough Council has prioritised improvements to Canvey Lake following it taking back the management of the lake in July 2026. A total budget of £1 million has been assigned to the completion of dredging works.
Renewal: If needed to complete works Award criteria: The Technical Quality Questions have a weighting of 95% and social value has a weighting of 5%. The technical questions will be evaluated individually by 3 separate people and then there will be a consensus meeting to agree on a score. The highest scoring bidder will be awarded the contract as the value is set at £1,000,000
