Die zu beschaffende automatisierte, miniaturisierte Bioreaktorplattform ist von zentraler Wichtigkeit für die aktuelle Forschung am Lehrstuhl für Bioverfahrenstechnik der Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg sowie für dessen strategische Weiterentwicklung. Das Großgerät soll dabei in drei der vier Forschungsschwerpunkten des Lehrstuhls eingesetzt werden: (1) Nanobiotechnologie, (2) Biokatalyse und Fermentation sowie (3) Systembiotechnologie
