Bei dem Projekt A19 – Container handelt es sich um eine Bündelung von Einzelmaßnahmen auf der Siegstrecke. Hierbei wurden auf etwa 80 km Strecke zwischen Troisdorf Hauptbahnhof und Siegen Hauptbahnhof verschiedene Maßnahmen der Gewerke KiB; Oberbau; LST und Personenbahnhöfe in eine große Sperrzeit integriert. Dies erfordert nun eine übergeordnete Betrachtung der Gesamtmaßnahme.
