Jeep Weedspraying contract Division 15 Limerick Junction 88-122mp. Day and Night works may be involved. Spraying not to take place at public road interfaces where traffic management may be required or in close proximity to the general public. Driver and lance operator required for duration of tender. The rate for the jeep will not be capped at on-demand rate. Driver must have all applicable certs to operate jeep. Sprayer must be tested and certified as per Pesticides Directive. Lance operator must have applicable certification for applying pesticides and must be registered as per Pesticides Directive. Certificate to be supplied at tender stage. Pesticide usage must be recorded and submitted to PWI for auditing purposes. Vehicle to have a minimum of 3 seats with seat belt facilities. The third seat is required for the I.E. representative to travel on. Iarnrod Eireann staff will provide possession protection only and will not be involved in the weed spraying operation. Iarnrod Eireann will provide the weed spraying chemicals. Plant hire contractor to ensure unit is full of chemical and water at the start of each shift and that no possession time is lost filling unit. Tank on RRV Jeep to be of 800 liters capacity minimum and be certified as per contractor PTA. Note MVT3 required as per plant hire spec. Indicative commencement date is 25th May 2026.
