Overview
A fully automated laboratory automation solution is to be procured to meet the laboratory's requirements for sample handling, transportation, sorting, archiving, and integration with existing analytical instruments, middleware, and the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The laboratory's activities at its current premises are expected to continue at the present level until the planned relocation to a new hospital location in 2031. This affects the expected period of use of the proposed solution. Information on annual sample volumes and activity levels is provided in 77030 Appendix 3.1, "Overview of the Number of Sample Tubes on the Automation System". Information on the existing instrument base is provided in 77030 Appendix 3.3, "Overview of the Automation System with Explanatory Notes". PLEASE NOTE: Due to absence on the part of the Contracting Authority, questions and enquiries received during week 41 will be answered on an ongoing basis from week 42 onwards.
