Overview

The works include the upgrade and replacement of key mechanical, electrical, and building fabric elements within the school to improve efficiency, reliability, and safety. A new Building Management System (BMS) is to be installed to provide enhanced monitoring and control of the heating and mechanical services, allowing improved energy management and operational efficiency. Existing heating circuit pumps to be replaced with new high-efficiency pumps to improve system performance and reliability. The cold water services (CWS) to be upgraded through the installation of a new CWS storage tank and associated booster pump set, ensuring improved water pressure, storage capacity, and compliance with current standards. Thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs) to be installed on selected radiators throughout the school to allow local temperature control, improve occupant comfort, and reduce energy consumption. Builders’ works includes the removal of the existing steel hopper lid roof and the installation of a new flat roof system, incorporating modern waterproofing materials to improve weather resistance, durability, and longevity of the structure.
